2017-18 VVV-Venlo Home Shirt

Having returned to the Eredivisie as Eerste Divisie champions, VVV-Venlo spent the 2017-18 season proving they belonged among the Dutch top flight once again. The Limburg club fought through a tense campaign in the lower half of the table, eventually securing their status with a 15th-place finish, four points clear of the relegation play-off zone.

It was a season built on resilience rather than spectacle, with VVV grinding out the results needed at key moments to avoid a return to the second tier. Survival without needing the play-offs represented a solid foundation for a club that had only just climbed back to Eredivisie level.
